PURPOSE:To protect a bit of information recorded on an external memory card by providing a nonvolatile memory to each terminal equipment to record a prescribed identification number given from an information center. CONSTITUTION:In a diversion control system for an external memory card 10 of a terminal equipment 1, the terminal identification numbers and the card identification numbers are controlled and allocated by an information center for each terminal equipment. At the same time, both terminal and card identifica tion numbers written into a nonvolatile memory EEPROM 21 of the equipment 1 only in an initial state area also written to the card 10 used by the equipment 1. The processing information stored in the card 10 can be executed again only when the coincidence is secured in an application state between the identifi cation numbers of the equipment 1 and the card 10. Thus the diversion of the card 10 is regulated and it is possible to protect such precious processing infor mation as the games, the music stored in the card 10. |
