PURPOSE:To improve the photographer's usage of a camera by providing opera tion parts which have the same function at two distant positions on the external surface of a camera main body, and giving one operation part priority or mak ing both ineffective when the two operation parts are operated at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A 1st operation part 5 and a 2nd operation part 13 which have the same function are provided on the external surface 2 of the camera main body at the two distance positions and when those 1st and 2nd operation parts 5 and 13 are operated at the same time, the operation of one operation part is given priority or the operation of both are made ineffective. In this case, the operation parts 5 and 13 may be composed of selecting means which gener ate the opposite results. Consequently, one operation part which is easier to use can be used according to various attitudes, etc., and consequently a satisfac tory photograph or image is obtained.
