发明名称 PROGRAM EDITING METHOD FOR INDUSTRIAL ROBOT
摘要 PURPOSE:To maintain a quick editing job even with a large program size by securing a sufficient idle area before or after the area of a program to be edited. CONSTITUTION:When a program 2 is edited among those robot programs P1-P4 stored in a robot program storing area 6 (1), the program P3 and P4 stored in the areas after the program P2 are moved and stored in the backward areas (robot program) 3'' and 4'' respectively. Then the idle areas are collected into an idle area 5' following the program P2 (2). Then the editing job is started for the program P2. The edited program P2 is stored in an area (robot program) 2' together with decision of an area 5'. Thus the shifts of the programs nearby the program to be edited are omitted and a quick editing job is carried out regardless of the sizes of the nearby working programs.
