PURPOSE:To eliminate a shock generated when a flash unit projects or sinks by moving the built-in flash unit between its storage position and projection position by an electric motor. CONSTITUTION:A sector gear 18 which is coaxial with a shaft 13 is fixed on the flank of the flash unit 15, and this sector gear 18 is associated with the driving motor 20 through a gear train 19. Therefore, when the driving motor 20 is driven forward and backward, the flash unit 15 rotates around the shaft 13 to move a normal light emission position shown by an alternate long and two short dashes line, a bounce position shown by an alternate long and three dashes line, and a storage position shown by a solid line. Thus, the flash unit 15 is moved by the electric motor 20, so the shock generated when the flash unit projects or sinks is eliminated and a high-level feeding in operation is obtained.
