Device temporarily protecting citrus fruits or other plants from winter frost. The invention relates to a device whose structure is made up of elements fitting into one another by means of ferrules V or by being "telescopic" which can be assembled and dismantled without a tool (except a hammer), growing or changing in shape to suit the plants, by means of extensions 4, 9 (19, 20 for the variants) and which are fixed to the ground by pegs 22 passing through holes pierced in the curved-open part of the legs 10. Optionally, it can be adapted to the location by means of articulations 2 and 2'.
