PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of knocking and the reduction in output, by supplying intake air through a bypass passage when such an operating condition as an intercooler becomes a high temperature has been detected. CONSTITUTION:A bypass passage 19 which bypasses an intercooler 15 is provided. The signals of an intake air pressure switch 23 and a vehicle speed switch 24 are input into a control circuit 21 to detect the operating condition in which the intercooler 15 becomes a high temperature. When such a condition is detected, a changeover valve 22 is changed over to supply intake air through the bypass passage 19. Thus, the knocking caused by the temperature rise of intake air and the reduction in output can be prevented. |
