The invention relates to a volumetric metering device for liquids. It consists of a hollow cylindrical tube 2, with a longitudinal axis XX, closed at its two ends 3, 4, of a piston 6 located inside 5 of the tube 2, which can move in translation along the longitudinal axis XX, of drive means 9 of the piston 6, the tube 2 comprising at each of its ends 3, 4, respectively two pipes 11, 12 for liquid intake and two pipes 13, 14 for liquid discharge, each pipe 11, 12, 13, 14 being fitted with a valve 15, 16, 17, 18, the valve 16 of an arrival pipe 12 situated at one end 4 of the tube 2 and the valve 17 of an exit pipe 13 situated at the opposite end 3 of the tube 2, being alternately opened and closed, whereas the valve 15 of the other arrival pipe 11, and the valve 16 of the other exit pipe 14 are alternatively closed and opened.
