发明名称 FERROUS HIGH-CHROMIUM ALLOY COMBINING HIGH TOUGHNESS WITH WEAR RESISTANCE
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a ferrous high-chromium alloy excellent in toughness, hardness, wear resistance, and spalling resistance, by providing a composition which contains respectively prescribed amounts of C, Cr, Nb, and V and in which quantitative relations among respective component elements are specified and also by providing a structure in which fine primary-crystal carbide of Cr is dispersed among the carbides of Nb and V. CONSTITUTION:The above-mentioned ferrous high-chromium alloy has a composition containing, by weight, 1.6-3.5% C, 16-25% Cr, 5-20% Nb, and 2-5% V, and further, quantitative relations among Cr, Nb, and V are represented by an inequality. In this ferrous high-chromium alloy, the fine primary-crystal carbide of Cr of 2-15mum grain size is finely dispersed among the carbides of Nb and V. In the alloy of this invention, a part of C is dissolved in a matrix at the time of hardening and increases hardness, and further, the rest of C combines with Cr, Nb, and V to form hard carbides, by which wear resistance is improved. Moreover, Nb and V form MC-type and M6C-type carbides, so that wear resistance is improved.
