The subject of the invention relates to the technical sector of poultry slaughterhouses. The device according to the invention comprises a filtering container 1, driven in a rotary movement, through the top of which is introduced the hot wax with its wastes, arriving from the plucking station, the said wax being removed quickly by virtue of the centrifugal force, through multiple perforations made in the walls of a rotary filter 3, whereas the waste is scraped, then removed upwards by an endless screw 6, positioned tangentially to the wall of the filter, substantially opposite the entry of the wax/waste mixture. <IMAGE>
