PURPOSE:To obtain a molded item, which reveals highly improved dynamic performance, by a method wherein amorphous thermoplastic resin, which is heated up and fluidized at a specified temperature, or a composite containing said resin is supplied between open molds, and the molds are clamped under pressure when the resin is cooled down into a specified temperature range. CONSTITUTION:Amorphous thermoplastic resin, which is heated and fluidized at a temperature higher than its glass transition point by 40 deg.C or more, or a composite containing said resin is supplied to open molds and the resin is cooled down. The resin is rolled through the mold clamping under pressure within the temperature range from the glass transition point of the resin to a temperature higher than the glass transition point by 40 deg.C. Further, the resin is cooled down below the glass transition point to be, taken out of the mold. The rolling ratio of the resin through the mold clamping under pressure is 2 or more. By crossing the border said ratio of 2, a very remarkable effect develops and the preferable ratio is 3-10. The applicable resin is amorphous thermoplastic resin such as polystyrene, polycarbonate, amorphous polyester, amorphous polyamide is exampled. |
