PURPOSE:To decrease ink recharging work to an ink impregnated body, by a method wherein pressure between an ink impregnated body and an ink transfer roller is increased when an ink ribbon has been used for a long time, thereby ink which is set at the initial state is used effectively. CONSTITUTION:When an ink ribbon 5 is fed into an ink ribbon housing chamber 13 by means of rotation in pinched state between a driving gear 8 and a driven gear 12, in accordance with the tension of the ink ribbon 5 travelling in arrow A direction, an ink transfer roller 19 rotates in arrow B direction and slides in arrow C direction thereby an ink-impregnated roller 21 is rotated in arrow D direction. Ink stored in the ink impregnated roller 21 is transferred through the transfer roller 19 to the ink ribbon 5, and when the number of printing increases and the printing becomes unclear, a pressing spring 22 is pushed through a hole 23 to a position over the center and the contact pressure P of the transfer roller 19 against the impregnated roller 21 is elevated. |
