A electrical plug (1) includes: a base (3) carrying internal recesses (13) each incorporating an electrically conductive terminal connected to a respective terminal pin of the plug, the recesses (13) receiving the bare ends (17) of electric leads; and a cap (2) including internal protrusions (20) which mate, when the cap (2) is secured upon base (3), with respective recesses (13) whereby to hold the ends (17) of the electrical leads against the terminals. Arms (12) moulded with the base (3) provide a cable clamp. The entrance to each recess is provided with a notch to grip a respective lead.
