PURPOSE:To easily generate an arc and to improve the efficiency in welding work by winding a conductor on a power cable near the base end part of a welding torch and connecting both ends of this conductor to a welding body. CONSTITUTION:An insulated wire 7 is wound on the power cable 4 near the base end part of a welding torch 2 to connect both ends of the inner part conductor 8 of this insulated wire 7. Since the insulated wire 7 thus acts as a capacitor an electron can be collected to the tip side of the welding torch 2 again. Consequently an arc is easily generated without grinding a tungsten electrode 3 to improve the efficiency in welding work.
