PURPOSE:To increase the productivity of a pulse gear manufacturing process and to improve the forming accuracy by subjecting one part of the material for pulse gear formed in annular shape to a plastic deforming by a pair of the dies forming a formed recessed part and formed projecting part. CONSTITUTION:The pulse gear 1 of an external tooth profile on which each detection tooth 2 is arranged outside is formed by subjecting to a plastic deformation by a press die 3 and receiving die 4. The pulse gear 1 has the formed recessed part 5 for pushing one part of the material for the pulse gear formed in annular shape and the formed projecting part 7 for pushing the material into this formed recessed part 5 and is formed by the half-shearing plastically deforming peripherally by pushing gradually between the push die(dies) 3 rotated in engagement in the reciprocal direction and a receiving die(mandrel) 4. A circular arcuate curved face is respectively formed on each corner part of the formed recessed part 5 and formed projecting part 7, a tapered face 9 is formed on both side faces of the formed projecting part 7 and the pulse gear 1 having the detection tooth 2 in angular tooth shape can be subjected to shearing with high accuracy by increasing the productivity. |
