摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a high speed printing head of a simple structure at a low cost, by a method wherein a third and a fourth hinges are arranged on both sides in a width direction across a second hinge, provided with a step difference with the second hinge in the thickness direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:When a voltage is impressed on a piezoelectric element 5, an expansion action is caused in an arrow A direction by the piezoelectric element 5 and a force is transmitted to a second hinge 2. Since a third and a fourth hinges 3, 4 have step difference with a second hinge 2, a first, the second, the third, the fourth hinges 8, 2, 3, 4 of a thin plate cause bending deformation and rotary motion is caused in an arrow B direction by an arm 1. Consequently, the displacement of the piezoelectric element 5 is enlarged and transmitted to a printing wire 7 connected to the end of the arm 1 and actuates in an arrow C direction to carry out printing action. Distance between the axis of the second hinge 2 and axis of the third and fourth hinges can be shortened as compared with the case respective hinges are flatly arranged. A displacement enlarging rate of a displacement enlarging mechanism can be increased. Even though only one arm is used, a stroke required for the printing action can be obtained. A response frequency of the printing action of a printing head becomes high and a high speed printing head is obtained.
