The invention relates to a controller for automatically adjusting wingtip flaps on aerodynamic or hydrodynamic wings or drive (propulsion) vanes. It is produced by means of a mass which is fitted at any desired distance behind the rotation point of the flap, and is firmly connected to the flap. It ensures that the flap automatically assumes the optimum deflection for the respective force situation on the wing profile.
