PURPOSE:To move a moving object to its specified position accurately by putting the tapered portion of an intruding rod into a notched portion of the moving object. CONSTITUTION:Positioning pads 2 with notches 6, 6', 6'', and 6''' of arbitrary shape, respectively, are provided on a moving object 1, while an intruding rod 3 with a tapered portion 4 of the shape corresponding to the arbitrary shape of the notches is placed in front of the moving object 1. When notch 6 is moved to the position of notch 6', notch 6''' is located in front of the tapered portion 4. Then, the intruding rod 3 is advanced notch 6''' abuts on the tapered portion 4 in order to position precisely the moving object 1. |
