PURPOSE:To easily and inexpensively modify the existing building cooling system using water heat source into that which uses the ice heat storage in an existing building by taking part of refrigerant out of the machine which is supplied to an ice making drum unit to generate evaporative gas which is then returned into the refrigerating machine, and scraping the resultant ice by a vane and floating finely broken ice in the water for ice making heat storage operation, and making the water containing floating ice circulate into an air cooler system. CONSTITUTION:Part of refrigerant in the machine that constitutes the refrigerating cycle in a refrigerating machine 2 is supplied through a refrigerant main supply pipe 41 to refrigerant piping for respective ice making drum units 7, and the refrigerant is gasified by evaporation in the refrigerant piping to be returned to the refrigerating machine 2 through a refrigerant main return pipe 43. The ice making heat storage operation is performed in which the ice generated on the surface of an ice making drum 10 by such cooling is finely floated in the water. The cooling operation is performed in which the water containing floating ice in an ice making small water tank 5a is returned to a low temperature tank 5l for circulation into an air cooler system 66.
