PURPOSE:To realize a compact circuit by compensating the dislocation of a vertical landing position by changing the value of digital data for forming a deflecting signal. CONSTITUTION:A detected signal part from a vertical landing (deflecting) sensor is subjected to a suitable processing in an analog circuit, thereafter, converted to a digital value in an A/D converter 58 and operated with data indicating the natural vertical landing position in a CPU 59 to calculate the quantity of a feedback. A memory 81 is DMAed in a suitable timing and the data is impressed to a vertical deflecting electrode via a D/A converter 39, an output circuit 51. Thereby, the vertical landing (deflecting) position of an electron beam is controlled and fed back.
