PURPOSE:To improve a quality of a product by providing a good wear resistance to an extrusion molding machine, by a method wherein a barrel into which a ceramics screw is inserted is obtained by fitting an inner barrel made of resin having self-lubrication into a metallic barrel body by leaving a gap between them. CONSTITUTION:A barrel is provided with a metallic barrel body 1 and inner barrel 2 having self-lubrication fitted into the metallic barrel body 1 and a gap 4 is formed between both. Ultra-high-molecular weight polyethylene is preferable as resin having the self-lubrication, and cast steel or stainless steel is used for the metallic barrel body. The gap 4 prevents damage due to contact or collision with the inner barrel 2 of a screw 3. Appropriate unevenness is formed on an inner barrel 2 for prevention of idle running and acceleration of forward movement of the body, and a sintered material such as alumina or zirconia of high wear resistance is preferable for the screw 3. With the above constitution, sufficient wear resistance is obtained and deterioration of a quality of a product can be prevented. |
