PURPOSE:To easily form a three-dimensional pattern, by forming a three- dimensional patterned part on the surface of a tabular member with the use of a strippable resin paint, coating a powder paint, etc., thereon to form a coated film, and releasing the patterned part and the coated film. CONSTITUTION:The strippable resin paint capable of imparting sufficient strength after curing is used to form an optional three-dimensional patterned part 3 on the surface of the tabular member 1 which has been finish-coated or not. A powder paint or a solvent-type paint is coated on the surface of the patterned part 3 to form a coated film 4. The patterned part 3 and the coated film 4 are then released from the surface of the tabular member 1, and a three-dimensional pattern 5 is formed by the coated film 4 remaining between the patterned parts 3. When the tabular member which has not been finish-coated is used, a finish coating by a solvent-type paint or a powder paint is applied to the surface of the tabular member 1 having the pattern 5. As a result, a three-dimensional pattern can be easily formed.
