PURPOSE:To prevent previously surrounding ground or underground water from contamination due to leakage of harmful materials from a storing pit of waste refuse, by forming a mortar layer incorporated with an adsorbent on the periphery of the waste refuse stored in the pit. CONSTITUTION:A mortar layer 5 incorporated with an adsorbent such as zeolite, is formed on the periphery of waste refuse 4 in a storing pit 3 contg. the waste refuse 4. As a result, accident of contaminating the surrounding ground and underground water due to the leakage of harmful materials from the pit 3 is prevented.
