PURPOSE:To detect the erroneous use of an abbreviated number whose telephone number is registered as an extension even when it is used for the time zone of a night zone (direct connection of line wire) and to prevent mis-connection from being generated, by deciding the telephone number data of the abbreviated number based on the time zone. CONSTITUTION:A number deciding part 5 reads out a present time T from a clock part 6, and compares it with a data starting time D0 and a data completing time D1 read out from an extension time zone data storage ROM7. As a result, if it is D0<T<D1, the number deciding part 5 sends the telephone number data received from an abbrevintad number processing part 3 to a dialing part 2 as it is because it is a daylight time. Also, if the result of the number deciding part 5 represents the night zone, that is, it is D0 >T or it is T>D1, it is checked whether the telephone number data received from the abbreviated number processing part 3 includes a line wire outgoing number, and when it includes the line wire outgoing number, the line wire outgoing number is removed from the telephone number data, then, it is sent to the dialing part 2.
