PURPOSE:To easily copy a monochromatic original in two colors by swearing away an image part to be copied in a color A of a monochromatic copy in an ink of the color A to obtain the second original ad performing the bicolor copy process of the sequential system. CONSTITUTION:The optical image of the monochromatic original is exposed on a photosensitive body 10 and is developed by a developing device 15 and is transferred to a black transfer paper SO. The image part to be copied in red is smeared away in a transparent red ink to obtain the second original, and this original is used to perform the bicolor copy process of the sequential system, and a desired bicolor copy is obtained. Thus, the original is not dirtied at the time of bicolor copying because the monochromatic copy is used, and an optional image part of the monochromatic black image is easily and surely copied chromatically.
