TAMPER-PROOF RING FOR CONTAINERS

A tamper-proof ring (2) has hooks (5) by means of which the tamper-proof ring (2) is separated from the closing body (1) when the closure is lifted. The hooks (5) have a sliding wedge (8) located for example in the middle of the hook (5), which extends in the circumferential direction. The sliding surface (11) of the wedge (8) has a width that represents about one-fourth of the length of the hook (5). The sliding surface (11) preferably forms an angle ( alpha ) of 31 DEG with respect to the inner wall (4) of the tamper-proof ring and begins at the lower edge (9) of the tamper-proof ring in order to improve the positioning of the closure on the container.
