PURPOSE:To prevent caking in preservation for a long period and to improve fluidity of the metallic salt powder, by subjecting metallic salt powder to heat treatment in an atmosphere of >=110 deg.C in a crushing stage or a stage after the crushing. CONSTITUTION:In the crushing stage or in the stage after the crushing stage for salt of metal such as alkali, alkaline earth metal or iron family elements, the metallic salt powder having excellent fluidity is produced by subjecting the metallic salt powder to heat treatment in the atmosphere of >=110 deg.C. A gyratory crusher, a shock crusher, a edge runner and etc., are used as the crusher and the crushed metallic salt having the desired grain size is obtained with screen, etc., mounting th crusher. In the heat treatment, the temp. of a heating medium for contacting with the object and heating the object, for instance, a heating air or a heating inert gas is necessary to be >=110 deg.C and is favorable to be >=120 deg.C. |
