PURPOSE:To easily change the transfer destination of a telephone from a remote place by utilizing a telephone line, by detecting a specific control signal sent from an incoming telephone line, and updating the bit of information of a telephone number stored in a telephone number signal sending means. CONSTITUTION:When the transfer destination is changed by placing a call from a visiting place and sending a remote control signal to a transfer device, it is performed in such a way that an MF signal control circuit 4 is controlled by receiving and discriminating the remote control signal by a remote control reception circuit 10 connected to the incoming telephone line, and a callee telephone number signal to be sent from an MF signal outgoing circuit 5 and stored corresponding to a bit of sent information is changed. In such a way, it is possible to switch the telephone placed at the time of absence automatically to another telephone set possible to answer the telephone directly by a person, and also, to change the transfer destination freely by using the telephone line from the remote place.
