PURPOSE:To effectively record and output to the last time without generating the shortage of a recording paper on the way of a picture recording by providing a means for detecting the presence of a recording medium to the supply side of the recording medium from a recording position and at a position separated from the length equivalent to one picture to be recorded. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 8 is disposed at a position separated by a distance longer than the length equivalent to one picture to be recorded at least from the recording position A in the supply side of the recording paper. A sensor 7 is disposed at the ejecting side of the recording paper and between a pinch roller 12 and the recording position. Accordingly, the sensor 7 is extremely near to the recording position A in comparison with the sensor 8. According to such a structure, as long as the sensors 7, 8 are turned on, the recording paper is apparently always present between both the sensors throughout the length more than one prescribed picture to be recorded. The recording paper is not inconveniently short of on the way of recording one page. |
