<p>PURPOSE:To catch and separate, mist contained in an exhaust gas with a washing liq. by allowing the exhaust gas and the washing liq. to simultaneously flow into a static type mixer and mixing by dividing and reversing action there. CONSTITUTION:In a primary treatment stage P1 the exhaust gas contg. the mist is fed into the entrance side of the static type mixer 1 and joins with the washing liq. which is sprayed from a spray nozzle 2, and is fed together with into the static type type mixer. The exhaust gas and the washing liq. are mixed by repeating the dividing action and the reversing action and then the mist contained in the exhaust gas is dissolved into the washing liq. in the static type mixer 1. The large drop of the dissolved mist drop into tank 3 and is stored these, and then the gas and liq. are separated out in a gas-liq. separator 8 and the liq. is returnee to the tank 3. In a second treatment stage P2, a hormful mixture is removed from the exhaust gas by bringing said gas to gas-liq. contact with an aq. alkali soln. in the static type mixer 9.</p> |
