PURPOSE:To uniformly execute an irradiation to an optical fiber by providing two pieces of polarizing plates on a light quantity adjusting mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A light beam 7 emitted from a lamp 6 passes through a slit A9 of a polarizing plate A1, and subsequently, passes through a slit B10 of a polarizing plate B2, and thereafter, radiated on an optical fiber A4. In case of adjusting the light quantity, it can be executed by rotating the polarizing plate B2 and changing an angle made by the slit B10 and the slit A9 of the polarizing plate A1, and when both the slits are parallel, the light quantity becomes maximum, and when they are vertical to each other, said quantity becomes minimum. According to this method, since the light beam 7 is not reduced, the light beam 7 is radiated uniformly on the optical fiber A4, and emitted from an optical fiber B5 of a ring light 3 after having passed through a cable 8, but a circular optical fiber B5 becomes uniform brightness. In such a way, light beam emitted from the optical fiber of the ring light side can be made uniform.
