<p>A lubricant oil duct (12) for conveying lubricant oil to spray nozzles (2) for cooling the pistons of an internal combustion engine. The spray nozzles (2) are linked to holders (3) fixed to transverse walls (4) in the crankcase (5). Passages (7) formed in the spray nozzle holders (3) open into through-holes (9) in the transverse walls (4). Plug-in pipes (10) arranged between the passages (7) of mutually opposite spray nozzle holders (3) fixed to different transverse walls (4) complete the lubricant oil ducts. A simple and economic lubricant oil duct is thus obtained. The fact that the components of the lubricant oil duct are finished before being assembled is particularly advantageous, since impurities due to finishing residues can be eliminated before assembly. The lubricant oil duct occupies a small space in the crankcase (5) and can be dismounted for maintenance purposes.</p> |
