The wind-vane comprising a shaft (8a, 8b) provided with a tail and rotatingly mounted about a vertical axis (1) by means of a magnetic bearing (2a, 2b). The magnetic bearing is threaded on the vertical axis (1) and it is comprised of a lower block (2a) made integral with the vertical axis (1) and of an upper block (2b) capable of rotating freely about said axis, the upper face of the lower block (2a) and the lower face of the upper block (2b) being each provided with a permanent magnet (10a, 10b), which magnets (10a, 10b) are facing each other and orientated so that their opposite faces have the same polarity, the shaft (8a, 8b) being made integral with the upper block (2b). |
