PURPOSE:To conduct a printing from the reverse side of a passbook successively after a printing from the surface side of the passbook, by providing a mechanism for reversing the passbook. CONSTITUTION:Along a passbook carry path 22, a printer device 20 is provided with an MS head 24 conducting the writing/reading of a magnetic stripe (MS) of a passbook, an auto-turn page mechanism 26 turning pages of the passbook until a page to be printed thereon is opened, a page sensor detecting the page number of a presently opened page, a printing head (printer) 30, and a reversing mechanism 36. The reversing mechanism 36 into which the passbook in open states is inserted is provided with a table (container) rotating at an angle of 180 deg. about the axis vertical to the surface of the passbook. The rotation of the passbook in open states by an angle of 180 deg. enables a printing from the reverse side just similarly to a printing from the surface side. |
