PURPOSE:To heighten serviceability, by providing a pocket bell function on a cordless telephone, forming a portable telephone set capable of switching a function to the cordless telephone function automatically setting a prescribed range as a boundary, and also, enabling it to be used as a fixed telephone set, as well by providing a connector part on the set. CONSTITUTION:The portable telephone set in this invention is provided with on-going structure of a cordless telephone and a pocket bell, or the function of the fixed telephone. When a call is placed from a vehicle 1 or by a person A, it is necessary to go near a public telephone set 2 or 5, and a signal issued from a telephone set is inputted to the antenna of the telephone 2 or 5, then, is inputted to an opposite telephone set. In such a case, the portable telephone set is the cordless telephone set, and the telephone 2 and 5 are also the telephone sets of the said invention, and simultaneously, the antenna is mounted on the box of the public telephone. When the call is placed from the in-door telephone set 6 or 9 on a person B or a vehicle 10, the pocket bell function part of the portable telephone set generates a buzzer tone when the person B or the vehicle 10 is positioned outside the functional range of the cordless telephone. The person who hears the buzzer tone moves to the public telephone 5, and when the person enters the functional range of the cordless telephone, the function is switched to the cordless telephone function automatically. |
