PURPOSE:To improve potential distribution at the time of impressing thunder impulse by making the number of turns of some conductors of totally parallel conductors more than that of the other parallel conductors at the end part of continuous windings of a core-type transformer. CONSTITUTION:Two conductors a and c of parallel conductors a-d are wound round three more turns than other two conductors b and d as seen in the end part section 21. The number of turns of winding in the end part section 21 can be changed according to a design. Then, a potential difference is generated not only between the winding turns but also between the conductors in the same turn. Accordingly, series electrostatic capacity in the winding is increased so as to improve potential distribution at the time of impressing thunder impulse. |
