A building is provided with a rafter roof (2) of at least one box-like roof element (3) which comprises at least two rafters attached at an interval from each other to a base plate (25) and insulation material (24) located in rafter channels formed between said rafters, said box-like roof element (3) supports with said base plate (25) via a floor beam (9) extending transversely of said rafters on and is anchored to a floor (10) of said building. Preferably the floor beam (9) is provided with a longitudinal rib (29) against which the base plate (25) rests, and is the base plate (25) further provided on its lower surface facing away from the rafters with a rabbet (26) into which grips the floor beam (9). It relates further to said self-supporting box-like roof element (3), and to a floor anchor (33) both for use with said rafter roof (2).
