PURPOSE:To faithfully transmit a voltage wave form and to accurately measure knocking voltage, especially, AC knocking voltage, by receiving a voltage dividing resistor in a polycarbonate rod and arranging the same outside a shield case. CONSTITUTION:A voltage dividing resistor 18 is received and held in a polycarbonate rod 16 and arranged outside a shield case 9 in a state insulated from the shield case 9. Further, the capacity added electrode 17 held to a continuity state with respect to the lead of the resistor 18 is mounted to the tip of the rod 16 so as to provide a definite interval from the case 9. By this constitution, float capacity is formed between the resistor 18 and the electrode 17. Accordingly, it is attained that the frequency characteristic of the circuit becomes a wide band. A voltage divider 13 dividing the voltage supplied between lead wire terminals 10, 11 and a recorder 13 recording the voltage divided by the voltage divider 12 are provided in a probe 24 and the case 9. Then, when this measuring apparatus is arranged to the hanger of a conveyor type knocking apparatus and knocking is supplied between the terminals 10, 11, said measuring apparatus measures knocking voltage while moving along with an image receiving tube to make it possible to automatically record the same.
