PURPOSE:To attain a conversion with which input and output are made of the same color sequence at all time by linking the of PAL system color sequence with SECAM system color sequence through a switching means. CONSTITUTION:SECAM system carrier colorsignal and is inputted directly to the respective terminals 3a, 3b of the switch circuit 3 from a signal from an input terminal 1 through a one-H delay circuit 2 and simultaneously the color is inputted to a FF 6 through a demodulator 4 and a waveform shaping circuit 5. The FF 6 receives a horizontal synchronizing signal from its terminal 7, and outputs a binary square wave to switch circuits 3, 14. From the common terminals 3c, 3d of the circuit 3, an input carrier chrominance signal and the output carrier signal of the circuit 2 are outputted at every one H. The signal is demodulated to color difference signals B-Y, R-Y by SECOM demodulator 8, 9, then modulated by PAL modulators 10, 11. The wave to be modulated is inputted to terminals 14b, 14a directly and via an inverter 13. A modulation wave whose phase varies at every one H is added 15 with a wave to be modulated from the modulator 10, and thus a PAL system color burst signal is outputted.
