PURPOSE:To reduce an optical loss of the whole optical switch in a noncut-off state by drawing out a pair of optical fibers for receiving light and photodetecting in the same direction. CONSTITUTION:An incident light optical fiber 12 is inserted and fixed to one side face of a casing 11 consisting of a synthetic resin, etc., inserted into the casing 11 in a state that covering of the tip part of the fiber 12 has been peeled off, and fixed and held so as to extend almost linearly in the inside of the casing 11. On the upper face of the casing 11, a recessed part 19 is formed, a push-button 14 is fitted in and attached to this recessed part 19, and the incident light optical fiber 12 is inserted and fixed into the casing 11 so that an emitting end face of its tip is matched as just the same face to the inner wall surface of a gap 20. On the other hand, a photodetecting fiber 13 is inserted into the casing 11 from the same side face as the incident light optical fiber 12 in the lower area of a hollow part 21. Also, the photodetecting optical fiber 13 is curved at an angle of 180 deg. in roughly U-shape in the casing 11 in a state that its cover is peeled off, and its tip is fixed and held linearly. |
