发明名称 PERPENDICULAR MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness of a substrate and soft magnetic layer as well as a perpendicular magnetic recording layer by providing the soft magnetic layer consisting of 'Permalloy(R)' contg. at least either of Cr and Ti and such a perpendicular magnetic recording layer which has uniaxial anisotropy on the soft magnetic layer and the symmetrical axis thereof is perpendicular to the substrate on the substrate. CONSTITUTION:This recording medium is provided with the substrate 1 which consists of an Al alloy having an Ni-P layer on the surface part, the soft magnetic layer 2 which is provided on the substrate 1 and consists of the 'Permalloy(R)' contg. at least either of Cr and Ti and such perpendicular magnetic recording layer 3 which is provided on the soft magnetic layer 2, has the uniaxial anisotropy and is provided with the symmetrical axis thereof perpendicular to the substrate 1. The adhesive strength of the soft magnetic layer 2 to the substrate 1 and the perpendicular magnetic recording layer 3 is thereby increased and the perpendicular magnetic recording medium with which the perpendicular magnetic recording layer 3 and the soft magnetic layer 2 are hardly strippable from the substrate 1 is thereby obtd.
