PURPOSE:To generate no moire fringe by providing a means for illuminating an adhesive agent part of the outside circumference of each fiber, on the outside circumference in the vicinity of the emitting end of the hand side of an image guide formed by bundling a fiber. CONSTITUTION:An annular ring stroboscope 25 is contained in the inside covered with an annular transparent member 24, on the cylindrical outside circumference of an emitting end 22B, and as a result, light is irradiated from the outside circumference to the emitting end 22B of an image guide 22, and by this illumination, an adhesive agent part of the outside circumference of each fiber 22A is illuminated. When an adhesive agent by acid-dissolved glass in the emitting end 22B is formed by using a material whose quality has a larger refractive index than a clad layer, in case of illumination by the ring stroboscope 25, a light is reflected by a boundary surface with the clad layer, the illuminating light illuminates almost only the adhesive agent layer part, a contrast of light and darkness between the fiber 22 part and the adhesive agent part is nearly eliminated, and no moire fringe is generated. |
