Panel consists of a copper-plastic laminate, the plastic consisting of a copolymer of methyl methacrylate and an alkyd resin, the latter being a condensation product of one or more olefinically unsatd. dicarboxylic acids and a glycol. The copolymer contains 60-90% wt. of the alkyd component, and the latter is a condensation product of at least 75% wt. acid having an olefin linkage in the alpha position relative to at least one of the COOH groups, and a mixture of two or more glycols. The mixture of glycols contains not more than 50% wt. glycol having an ether linkage. The mixture of glycols is pref. free of ether linkages. The plastic is pref. reinforced with glass fibres. The panels are especially useful in the manufacture of printed circuits. The plastic bonds well to the copper, and has a good resistance to solvents.
