PURPOSE:To eliminate excessive evaporation of coolant caused by an eddy current by providing a dummy spacer composed of an insulating member with a small heat, capacity whose outside surface is covered with fiber reinforced plastic which is made in such a manner that glass cloths are laminated and impregnated with epoxy resin and the resin is heated and cured in a coolant storage. CONSTITUTION:A dummy spacer composed of an insulating member 13 with a small heat capacity whose outside surface is covered with fiber reinforced plastic 14 which is made in such a manner that glass cloths are laminated and impregnated with epoxy resin and the resin is heated and cured is provided in a coolant storage in which a cryogenic equipment is housed. As the small heat capacity and light weight dummy spacer is provided, the space in the coolant storage is filled with the dummy spacer to reduce the filling quantity of expensive coolant such as liquid helium. Moreover, the cooling can be performed easily and workability can be improved and the generation of an eddy current is avoided and the evaporation of the coolant such as liquid helium can be suppressed. |
