PURPOSE:To retrieve plural types of information memories for input data by using an information memory selecting means which selects an information memory to be retrieved to the input data based on the result of retrieval obtained by a retrieving means. CONSTITUTION:An information memory includes plural types of memories and an information memory selecting means selects an information memory to be retrieved to the input data based on the result of retrieval obtained by a retrieving means. Thus plural types of information memories are successively retrieved by the retrieving means first for input data. Then the information memory selecting means selects an information memory to be retrieved by the retrieving means to the input data based on the retrieving results of various information memories.
