发明名称 METHOD OF GRADIENT COMPENSATION IN 3-D PROFILING
摘要 PURPOSE:To make a stabilized 3-D profiling control possible by reading position data and displacement data of a model, obtaining a compensation amount corresponding to a gradient based on a directional ratio of movement amounts of a current position, and compensating the displacement data. CONSTITUTION:When profiling a joint border line of a 3-D model for example, a stylus 43 is in contact with both a vertical wall surface and a gradient floor surface to generate signals of displacements from both of the surfaces. The displacement in the direction of X-Y axes is read in with a displacement read-in section 52 while a current position detected with a position detector 44 is read in with a position read-in section 51. A 3-D profiling compensation amount calculating section 53 calculates X and Y directional components of the displacement due to the gradient from the floor surface based on a directional ratio of a movement amount of the current position obtained from the change in the position data. Using the result as a compensation amount, a 3-D profile operation section 54 compensates X and Y directional displacement data read in and controls a motor 41 via a motor control section 55. In this way, stabilized 3-D profiling control without the stylus plowing into or coming off can be performed regardless of presence of any gradient on the 3-D model.
