PURPOSE:To enable high-density images with excellent gradation properties to be obtained and ensure durability particularly to high thermal energy recording, by providing a lubricous heat-resistant protective layer comprising a polysiloxane graft polymer as a main constituent on the lower side of a base formed of a polyester high molecular weight material. CONSTITUTION:A polysiloxane graft polymer is a polymer obtained by, for example, solution polymerization of a monomeric mixture comprising a polymerizable silane compound in the presence of a hydroxyl-terminated polysiloxane. The polymerizable silane compound is a compound having at least one polymerizable unsaturated group and at least one group capable of a condensation reaction with the polysiloxane, and may be vinyltrimethoxysilane or the like. The material for organic or inorganic particulates to be mixed with the polyxiloxane graft polymer is not particularly limited. A liquid prepared by sufficiently mixing and dispersing the polysiloxane graft polymer and the particulates in a solvent is applied to a polyester high molecular weight material film used as a base. |
