PURPOSE:To keep contact resistance of an electrosensitive recording paper and a return circuit electrode less, by a method wherein the electrosensitive recording paper and the return circuit electrode are so arranged as to come into frictional contact with each other. CONSTITUTION:A recording paper 1 is brought into contact with return circuit electrode 3 by a guide roller 8. Since the return circuit electrode 3 has been made unable to be rotated, friction occurs on a friction surface between the return circuit electrode 3 and the recording paper 1. Consequently, the contact surface of the return circuit electrode 3 is slightly scraped off. Oxide insulating substance to be generated on the surface or a mixture composed of insulating substance to be mixed unexpectedly is removed and a state of a stabilized small electric resistance can be realized. Good discharge can be generated by this method. |
