PURPOSE:To remarkably shorten the process and at the same time relaize the favorable managerial and cost aspects of a part by a method wherein the unnecessary corner portions at either ones of or both warpwise wires and woofwise wires are cut off simultaneously when the warpwise wires and woofwise wires are bent. CONSTITUTION:A protective guard 12 consists in bending a plurality of metal warpwise wires 13 and woofwise wires 14. During the bending process of each wire at a position indicated with dotted lines, each wire is cut off its unnecessary portion (portion indicated with a mark x) simultaneously with the bending of its necessary portion (portion indicated with a mark o) toward the corner part side of the protective guard 12. Consequently, because the bending process and the cutting-off of unnecessary portions are performed simultaneously, the process can be remarkably shortened. In addition, the warpwise wires and woofwise wires are respectively kept straight in stock material, the favorable managerial and cost aspects of parts are realized. |
