PURPOSE:To attain a frequency multiplier suitable for mass production without dispersion in the multiplication characteristic and deterioration in the performance by providing a ring,shaped pattern so as to facilitate and make the electric connection between a step recovery diode and an input/output filter complete. CONSTITUTION:A cathode electrode of the step recovery diode 4 is inserted to a through hole 9 provided onto a dielectric base 1 and the cathode electrode is soldered to the rear face cathode electrode and the anode electrode is soldered to the ring-shaped pattern 5 respectively. Since the ring-shaped pattern acts like a land for soldering, the soldering of the anode electrode of the step recovery diode is much simplified. Moreover, the adjustment to the change of the multiplication characteristic due to the dispersion of the characteristic of the step recovery diode is conducted easily by providing a stub to the ring-shaped pattern, and the frequency multiplier without dispersion in the multiplication characteristic and deterioration in the performance and suitable for the mass production and excellent workability is obtained.
