PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in safety, by constituting an automatic transmission to be controlled according to the range position signal so far inputted in advance, in more than two range position signals inputted, at a time when more than two range position signals showing each range position different with one another are all inputted. CONSTITUTION:When these are more than two range position signals inputted, the signal so far inputted in advance, in more than two range position signals having been inputted, namely, the range position signal so far inputted at the time of the last loop is applied whereby control over an automatic transmission 11 is carried out. When a range select lever 10 is in a fixed position without being changed over, the range position signal inputted in the midway is so judged that it is caused by trouble or the like in an input system inclusive of a range position detecting sensor 9, so that no influence of the range position signal after being inputted due to the trouble or the like is received, thus safety running is positively performable. |
